Family Reunion

This last week we packed up our little family and made the long drive up to Utah. The Silvester side was having their family reunion near Yellowstone and we were excited to get to go this year. We spent the first few days in Utah where we were able to spend lots of time with family and friends. And then made the trip up through Idaho for our family reunion. We had so much fun hanging out at the lake, playing games, and chasing around our very active toddler. We also spent a day and drove up to Jackson Hole and did some shopping. By the time the reunion was over, we were ready to go sleep in our own beds. Over all we had a really good time. On the way home we stayed the night in Vegas and went to Mandalay Bay and took Avery through the Aquarium to see the sharks. It was too bad that it was pitch black in there or I would have got some good shark pictures, but all is well. Anyways, we are very Happy to be home, but just loved our little vacation!

Just pushing my monkey on the swing. No big deal.

It was not soon after we arrived that Avery made a b-line for the swing set. And it was exactly where she stayed for the remainder of our trip.

Avery just helping me do some painting.

Since we had not been to Utah in a long time, we thought that we would stop off and see some old friends that were living in Utah. We were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner and hang out with one of Jeffs friends James from high school, his wife Martha and their very cute kids. Avery just loved playing with little Lindy.

It was fun to take a short trip to visit Alicia and her little family also. We got to go to dinner and ice cream just hang out and chat. Avery and Hailey have the same birthday and it was so cute to see them play with each other. During dinner the dads had to take the girls for a little walk so us moms could finish eating and apparently Avery and Hailey held hands the entire time while they were walking around. So Cute!!

We also got to stop through Logan on our was back from Wyoming and see a good friend Lauren and her little one Cali.

26 weeks and a new tree

We finally planted two trees in our very barren front yard two weeks ago. I am very excited for these trees to hurry up and grow so they can give us some shade. With is being so stinkin hot here, we thought some shade would do our house some good. You also get to see me here at about 26 weeks showing off the belly. So enjoy!

Happy 4th of July

Ours was quite uneventful, but very nice and relaxing. We spent the afternoon hanging out with family and friends just swimming, bbq-ing and having a great weekend.

Cute little cousin Maggie and little baby sis Olivia. We love having our cousins so close to us.
