Sidewalk Chalk

Sidewalk Chalk has been one of the best purchases we have made thus far. Avery loves to play with it, and eat it. So it serves dual purpose.
The picture of the citrus on the grass is a picture for my photography class. Our assignment was patterns this time. I thought this one was kinda cool. Anyways..

New Project

I have been wanting to make Avery a quilt for a while, but I could not decide what pattern and colors to do. I wanted to make her a quilt for her someday "big girl bed", so I have a while to finish it. But here it is so far. I just took a picture of one of the pillow shams because the quilt is too big, but when I am done, I will post a picture of the finished product. I still have a lot to do...

Slide Fun

I am so sorry Utah friends, but the weather here is GREAT!! We really are lucky to live in a area with such mild weather. So, I am taking a photography class this semester because I really need to learn how to use this sweet camera we have. Our next assignment is called patterns, so I am going to be posting some pictures sometime for all of your voting enjoyment. YEAH!!! and Happy Valentines Day!

Ode to Avery

Where is the time going, seriously. My sweet little baby is just growing up so fast. So, the other day I was doing my makeup in the bathroom and usually I can hear Avery playing, but this morning I didn't hear anything. Usually this means that she is getting into trouble. So, I walked into the living room and I couldn't see where she was. When I turned around I saw her sitting up on the couch with my huge water bottle in between her legs. She had the remote control sitting next to her and she had turned the tv onto fuzz. When she saw me looking at her she too a huge Napoleon drink of water and turned her head back around to look at the fuzzy tv. I was cracking up so hard. My sweet little baby.

*Its amazing how fast these little ones learn. Avery just loves her babies. She loves pushing them in the strollers, bundling them up in blankets, feeding them (with sound effects), rocking them, and giving them hugs and kisses.
*Running and climbing are this girls favorite things. Climbing up the slide at the park, up and down the stairs, and everywhere else. She tries to jump on command and it is just the cutest thing in the world.
*We are not quite ready for potty training, but Avery sure does love sitting on her potty and reading a book.
*I don't know why, but this little girl loves salsa. I kid you not. She loves to dip chips or just eat it off a spoon. I am not complaining, but it is a little strange. She also loves frozen fruit, granola and yogurt, well, just about anything. I'm not going to lie, this girl can eat.
*I think that we have a late talker on our hands, but Avery does have a few things that she loves to say. One of those things is yes. What baby says yes, before no? Anyways, momma and Dada top her list, as well as whats this and whats that.
*Her hugs and kisses are to die for and are just so sweet. She loves to give them to all her little friends.
*To this day, our little Avery cannot sit still to save her life. She has about a 10 sec attention span.
*Her love of animals it too cute. Its actually nice because she has no fear of them. She just loves dogs and cats and cant get enough of them. I fear this love might involve us getting a pet sometime in the future.
*I know that every parent thinks this, but Avery is so smart. She has her dads memory for sure, nothing leaves that steel trap. She loves matching games and learning baby signs.

I hope that I can remember to Cherish this time, because it is just so sweet..
