Happy Birthday Avery!!
Wow, a year sure has gone by fast. But like it or not, my baby is getting older. We had a birthday party for her on Saturday. It was so fun to see her opening her presents and playing with her cake, which she hated by the way. If you notice in some of the pictures she busted open her eye and it was pretty deep, so I had to glue it back together. One ER visit avoided. Anyways, enjoy! More picture to come. She still has not had her one year old picture taken... so just you wait! By the way, this cake was so hard to make. So good luck to those who attempt to use fondant.

You did good! I've been waiting to see the pictures. You went for the gold doing a three tier cake. I'm wondering why the fondant didn't work out for you...hmmm. This just means we need need to get together, STAT! Happy Birthday Avery....you're so dang cute and we can't wait for the "official" one year old pics!

What a cool cake! I love the lop-sidedness of it. Way cool. And way to go with the fondant attempt. We have some cake decorating toys but have never tried fondant.
I can't believe your daughter is already one. Guess you should be having another one soon?
