We are getting a tooth!!!

Avery is getting a tooth. It is so cute. Anyways, she just loves the really cold stuff now. I ground up some frozen fruit and put it in a big mug and she was chugging it. It was really funny. I could not get her to stop and then of coarse she had it all over the place.



Since Avery just has a layer of fuzz, which is growing little be little, I decided she should probably wear some type of bows or something. So, I decided to maker her some. They turned out pretty darn cute.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone. We had a pretty normal Easter this year. We went to the park with some friends on Saturday and played games and had an egg hunt. And on Sunday we had family dinner. It was so fun to dress Avery up for her first Easter. She is such a little doll!!

It's been forever!

Well, Avery is now a little over six months old. She is trying so hard to crawl and is just itching to run around. She was 17 lbs and 26 inches at her last appointment and is packing on the pounds. That puts her in the 75% for her age. She just loves to be outside, in the water, and doing anything that involves eating something. She has been keeping us pretty busy the last couple of weeks.

So, i chose this picture on purpose because it shows just how much Avery moves. Its non stop. She cannot sit still for one minute. Its pretty funny to see because even if she is laying down her arms are going one hundred miles an hour. She is trying so hard to crawl, its pretty funny to watch.

Ok, I know that someday Avery will probably kill me when she finds out I posted a picture of her bum on the Internet, but seriously, it cracks me up. Literally!! All those roll!! I got myself one healthy baby.

So, these last few weeks have been fun. Avery is growing more and more every day. A few weeks ago she started rolling over. Front to back, and back to front. She likes to hold her own cup and eat everything I am eating. She is such a spaz. I love the shirt she is wearing in most of these pictures because she truly is a wiggle worm. We are seriously walking around all day. I cannot wait until she can crawl and move around some on her own. She is so dang cute and I am loving being her mommy!!

Ready for summer!!!

So, we went to the carters outlet, which is my favorite store now, and I wanted to get Avery a new swim suite. Well, we walked away with a little more. She totally picked these glasses out of a bowl when we were paying and she loves to wear them. It is really cute.

Sleep training fun!!

So, the last few weeks we have spent sleep trainig Avery. She was sleeping so well for a while and then she started waking up during the night again. About every two hours. I love my baby and all, but wow. I was starting to get a little tired. I knew that it was time. I had to prepare myself because I had heard horror stories about moms who had to let their babys cry for 2 hours before they fell asleep. I was a little nervous because I have a hard time listening to her cry for 5 minutes. Well, Avery did such a good job. She only cried for like 20 mins the first night. And it has only gone uphill from there. We now do our routine every night ( dinner, bath, book, and bed) at 6:30 and lay her in her bed by 7 and she is out. She only wakes up once around 4 or 5 to eat and goes back to sleep until 7:30 0r 8. No more rocking her to sleep and quietly putting her in her bed careful not to blink in fear of waking her. No more binkie to sleep. Oh, its amazing!! Now she is napping better and is such a happier baby. We do have to keep her up between naps so that she will actually sleep during her naps. If it were up to her she would sleep for 10 mins every hour. So, this picture cracks me up. This is Avery trying so hard to stay awake inbetween naps. Its safe to say it did not work so well..

So, if you dont have one of these you have to get one. Avery loves it. It is really cute to try to see her figure out why this mesh thing tastes so good. This one is nice because you freeze the bottom part and it keeps the food inside cold.

Late Christmas update

I know that I am a little late on the Christmas update, but better late than never. We stayed here in Hanford for Christmas. It was so fun to have Avery for her first Christmas. She dose not really get very excited about presents or anything, but I sure got excited for the both of us. She got a jumper from my parents, a rocking horse, a big stuffed alligator from her pappa, and some baby vans from her aunt Kilean. It was a wonderful first Christmas.
So, we started giving Avery solid foods of Christmas. It was so cute to see her learn how to swallow food. She actually did really well.

Grandma and Grampa got Avery a jumper for Christmas. She loves it. Seriously, she jumps so high. It is really funny to watch her . I crack up every time.
